A Well of Wellness

The Edna W. Runner Education Center was helping to keep the community healthy. It hosted its first-ever Wellness Fair.

Over 20 agencies and wellness companies across Palm Beach County participated and supported the community. There were giveaways, health advice, wellness checks and blood pressure screening.

More than 200 guests were on hand, many of whom got active in Zumba class, yoga sessions and a dance party with Digital Vibes.

“It was a joyful experience to see our diverse community – from senior citizens to children and young families with babies come together to celebrate healthy lifestyles,” says Travis Conway, Executive Director of the Edna W. Runner Education Center. “There are many local health resources available, and it was impactful to see the exchange of ideas – even amongst our vendor guests who learned about each other and can now make referrals.”

Participating vendors included 211, Andrea C Cameron Foundation, Crosspointe Church, Community Care Plan, Community Healing Institute, Dr. Miller, Edna W. Runner Education Center, El Sol, Families First, Falinda, Healthy Me, Jupiter Dental, Jupiter Medical Center, Guests enjoyed Zumba classes and a dance party with Digital Vibes.
