🌟 STARS WERE SHINING BRIGHT TODAY AT THE EDNA W. RUNNER TUTORIAL CENTER! 🌟
Our hearts are full after watching our amazing students showcase their incredible talents at today's all-grade talent show! The stage was on fire with:
• 💃 Spectacular dancers showing their best moves
• 🎤 Beautiful voices singing their hearts out
• 🤸♀️ Impressive gymnasts flipping and tumbling
• 🎨 Talented artists proudly displaying their masterpieces
Every single performer brought their A-game and filled our center with joy, confidence, and endless entertainment! The excitement was contagious as students cheered on their friends and classmates.
Our talented stars went home with:
• 🧸 Cuddly stuffed animals for all participants
• 🍭 Sweet lollipop treats
• 💰 Special monetary prizes for top performances
We're so proud of EVERY student who had the courage to share their talents with us today! These moments of self-expression and celebration are what make our center such a special place.

As we enter the season of giving thanks, we want to show our gratitude to the Palm Beach County Office of Community Revitalization for providing food and turkeys to our community this past week!
These little ornament people (our students made) hope to see you tonight at the PJ Party at The Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast . We are so thankful to Jensen Beach Bowl for donating the tree which benefits the Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center!
TONIGHT - Friday, November 22nd at 6:30 PM, you can embrace the holiday spirit early by donning your favorite Christmas pajamas for an evening of merriment and cheer. This exclusive cocktail party, part of the Festival of Giving presented by Gina Staten, The Ngo Group & Illustrated Properties, promises a delightful mix of festive entertainment, delicious bites, and holiday magic. 🎉🍸
$75 per person, you’ll receive one drink ticket to start the night off right. Enjoy a selection of cocktails while you mingle, dance, and enjoy entertainment. 🎶💃 Take a stroll through the museum and marvel at the beautifully decorated Christmas trees, each one benefitting a local nonprofit organization. 🌟🎄 Don’t forget to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win the beautiful Christmas trees. 🎁

Our young creators had a blast designing special themed Christmas ornaments that showcase our exciting trade programs! Each ornament tells a story of the skills our students are learning:
• 🧵 Tiny sewing machines and fabric swatches
• 🔨 Mini tool belts and carpenter's squares
• 💇♀️ Sparkly combs and styling tools
• 👩🍳 Miniature culinary tools designed to look like the grinch
These beautiful handmade ornaments will be featured on a special Christmas tree at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre in December! 🎭 Stop by to see our students' creative work on display - and the best part? These one-of-a-kind ornaments and our tree will be available for purchase to support our programs!
Special thanks to JL Cares volunteers, Stacy Stack, Kerry Brown, Lisa Stanton, and Merrick McDermick, for inspiring our students and helping them showcase their talents through these creative holiday decorations. Together, we're building skills and spreading joy! 🌟

Ms. Edna’s lifelong commitment to building a brighter future, one student at a time, echoes in the hearts of all those she touched. Her legacy invites everyone to continue the great work she so passionately pursued, ensuring that the flame she ignited continues to light the way for generations to come. Today, we invite you to recall and share your happy, funny, inspirational memories of our dear Ms. Edna Mae W. Runner and share her beauty on this day - and forever forward.

Thank you to the Impact the Palm Beaches team for highlighting the beautiful garden program at the Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center in this week's newsletter.
The generous grant provided to the center by Impact the Palm Beaches delighted Ms. Edna as she was able to create a food garden for our children to enjoy and learn from. This program and curriculum was an extension of the garden established with love named Simon's Giving Garden. Made possible by the family and friends of Simon Baker and supported by the Mary McArtor Reynolds Foundation, the garden has been an inspirational part of the center since its inception.
Please come visit us and see our garden areas in person! Walk through Edna's Preserve and enjoy the trees and food grown in SImon's Giving Garden.
