SUMMER CAMP & SPRING BREAK

Over the nine weeks of summer and during spring break, a full-day program allows the staff additional time to both educate and support the development of life skills and to expose students to new places, activities and experiences, with the inclusion of field trips and guest speakers.

The summer camp is supported by the Community Foundation, Children's Healthcare Charities, The Debly Foundation, donor grants, and Palm Beach County, and has been proven to limit the summer slide, ensuring that the progress of the students continues to move forward despite school being on break.  Reading, math, project activities, and excursions are designed to be fun and to help develop core skills such as communication, academic self-efficacy, self-control, and teamwork - which are all linked to positive academic and socio-emotional outcomes.
