Admiral’s Cove Foundation Grant Awarded to EWRTC

Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center recently received a $50,000 grant from the Admirals Cove Foundation for a 15-passenger vehicle.  This new van is critical to the center’s ability to bring students to the center after school and to make special outings possible for the students during the school year and during summer camp.

“We are grateful for the generous support of the Admirals Cove Foundation which is committed to making an impact in our community.  We thank the members of Admirals Cove who see the importance of bringing new experiences to our youth so that they may expand their horizons and learn.” said Edna W. Runner, Executive Director of the Tutorial Center which bears her name.  Ms. Runner added that “By providing access to new experiences, Admiral’s Cove Foundation is allowing children in the summer camp and trade programs to visit sites throughout Palm Beach County they otherwise would never see.”
