Our Top Mission…

Is to help students develop interests, skill and knowledge in a variety of areas all within a safe, warm and nurturing environment.

For over a decade

We've been helping the local community

The West Jupiter Community Group, Inc. is a 501c3 organization that has been providing services in the West Jupiter community since 1986.  The tutorial building, which opened in 1993, was rededicated as the “Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center” after a recent expansion.

The tutorial center is a provider of after school, winter break, spring break and summer camp services for children in grades K-8.  Our objective is to provide educational support, increase grade point average and self-esteem.  We strive to help students develop interests, skill and knowledge in a variety of areas all within a safe, warm and nurturing environment.

How we help

Robotics

We would like to send a HUGE thank you out to Mr. Mark Gross for coming and sharing his very cool Robotics with our older campers. We all learned something new today and we hope that you come back soon.

Museum of Discovery & Science

We would like to thank everyone at the museum for such a wonderful educational morning. The most unique event venue in South Florida, spanning two floors, the Museum features over 200 interactive exhibits including live animal habitats, flight simulators and featured traveling exhibits. A five-story-high film adventure at the AutoNation® IMAX® Theater, home of the BIGGEST screen in South Florida.

Fitness Fest

Each July, over 5,000 South Florida youth gather for two days of FITNESS and FUN! Full of excitement and energy, festival participants will have the opportunity to get hands on experience and develop skills in over 45 different sports clinics.

Crime Prevention and Safety

Today was another exciting day at the Center. The morning was spent at the Jupiter Police Station learning all about Crime Prevention, Stranger Danger, Cyber Bulling, Safe Neighborhood, and much more. We would really like to thank the Men and Women at the Station for speaking with our students today and answering all of their questions.

Building community deep in the hearts of South Floridians.
